Friday night, the Ironmen rookies proved that the they can play with the leagues top players. Wade Stephenson and Tyler Kellum picked up the goals for the Ironmen, with lil Nic Carter getting the lone assists on Wade's goals.

The game was a see-saw match up that saw the Hawks take a controling 3-1 lead in the third period, only to have the Ironmen battle back and eventually take the lead with 5 minutes left in the game. However, the Hawks power-play evened the score with 2 minutes remaining.

Kevin Quincey scored the game winner for the Hawks in over-time.

The Ironmen are back in action Sunday afternoon as they travel to Kincardine to face off against the Bulldogs at 4PM.
